understand

I was too lazy to think about bgr during CET, but i find myself unknowingly thinking about this on the way home.

The key to reaching and leading youths is understanding. We're all humans, and we look for people who understands and relates to us. Human relationships are subtle issues. They don't need people to tell them what to do, they need people to show them why the proposed alternative is better. We need to understand them and speak their language, to see their puzzles and struggles. Only then we will know which strings to pull, and which strings to slack.

Understanding comes from getting interested and getting involved in their personal and daily lives. Leadership is being recognised, not acknowledged.
