2 months ago, the same plate of rice cost $2.80. Today it cost me $3.10, that is a 10% increase. Is that true inflation? Or an opportunity for hawkers to chop the innocent customer under such pretense?

Whatever it is, i certainly do know that my salary did not increase by 10% nor anywhere near. We are the new poor.
